Neil Walker... I rarely went to church where I grew up and had little exposure to Christ. Through the help of some friends, I began a relationship with Jesus in high school. I came to college wanting to know Him better but had no idea how to do that. Then I encountered some guys who really made it practical. One guy in particular took an interest and invested heavily in my life. I began to work to do that same thing with others. I love working with college students today and helping them discover Christ and the life He alone can provide. I feel like college is a key time of life when students make decisions that will impact the rest of their lives. I am grateful that we get to be a part of that. Melinda and I have been married forty years, have 4 grown children, 10 grandkids and began Challenge at the University of Southern California in January of 1988.

Our Connexxion Staff
Amsterdam
Martha Moore… Coming from Florida, USA, I studied Secondary Education at Baylor University (English, Communications) & later received my Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Texas). In Vancouver, Canada and Los Angeles, I had the privilege of “cutting my teeth” on student ministry with post-moderns. In 2000 I founded a campus ministry in the East of Germany, Jena, which later took the name of “Connexxion.” After starting a new Connexxion group in Braunschweig in 2007, God led me to Sevilla, Spain, where I served 2 years before handing that over to nationals and coming back to Germany. In the Fall of 2016 God led me to a new Adventure -- moving from Germany to open up a new ministry to share the love of Jesus with the 80,000 university students in Amsterdam, Holland. My hobbies are drinking coffee, walking, lots of talking. I love students in Europe!
Bonn
Anja Seeger… I grew up in former east-Germany and studied social work in Jena. Shortly after I started, I was connected to the Connexxion Group there – which was led by Martha Moore back then. I learned much About Christian faith and soon after gave my life to Christ. Since then God called me to help students to get to know Jesus and I worked with Connexxion in Jena till January 2006. Then I deepened my faith with a 2 year masters-study at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Texas, USA). Afterwards I returned to Germany to help the Connexxion group in Braunschweig (Germany) and lead the group for several years, before a friend and I planted a new Connexxion group in Bonn in 2013. My hobbies are running, travelling, get a coffee and develop new ideas and concepts.
Robin Seeger… I grew up in a christian home close to Cologne (Germany). I studied a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work in Jena and got invited to Connexxion at a local church. After attending for a few years and with the help of a good friend who helped me to trust the Gospel, I recommitted my life to Jesus Christ. In 2014 I became an intern with Connexxion and helped to restart the group after the former leader transitioned into church planting. Later, I became the campus leader until Anja and I got married in 2018. Since then we both serve in Bonn with Connexxion. In my freetime I love to go on a walk with my wife, to meet friends, to read articles and to do sports like soccer, badminton or volleyball. |
Aileen Sander… I grew up in a small village called Erder that is close to the city Bielefeld and started in autumn 2015 with my bachelor’s degree in Asian studies in Bonn. There I met Connexxion in the summer of 2016, with whom I started an internship in April 2018. Now I am beginning with my last year of my Masters in South East Asian studies. In my leisure time I like to dance, make music and meet friends.

Philipp Simon... I was born and grew up in the Philippines as a missionary kid and moved to Germany with my family in 2011. Right now I’m a student at the university of Bonn in the second year of my masters degree in “Medical Immunoscience and Infection”. I first met Connexxion at the end of 2016 and have been helping out as an intern since the beginning of 2018. In my freetime I enjoy reading, hiking and camping, and wood carving.

Braunschweig
Alexander Wille... Studying mechanical engineering brought me to many awesome places. During an internship abroad, God reached out to me through my host family.
As I came back, I was seeking him and went to Brunswick for my graduation thesis. There I met “Connexxion” and went on staff in 2014. In 2016 I took on the role of the campus leader. My goal is that the students will get to know and love God and to teach them how to radiate that into their surroundings. I enjoy traveling, meeting new people and being in nature with my hammock. |
